PicMonkey Collage

This time I’ll show you the most fabulous 5 (+1) interior pieces that I’ve discovered on Pinterest .  Since I’m trying to find a room and move out, I’ve spent a lot of time on Pinterest for interior inspiration. Obviously I’ve more pictures that I wanted to share, but I’ll just keep it at 5 plus 1 extra! Take a look and get inspired!

Merci Marc!

After 16 years at the helm of Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs showed his last collection for the French fashion house Wednesday morning. It was “for the showgirl in all of us,” it said in the notes, a moving depiction of the Paris of our dreams on the last day of Paris Fashion Week.

Marc is one of my favorite designers of our time and I’ll sure miss his collections for Louis Vuitton! Thank you Marc for the best shows!

Victoria Beckham for Vogue China.

Victoria Beckham’s striking a pose on the cover of the Chinese Vogue. Posh has already done some covers for Vogue, but it’s the first time she appears on the cover of Vogue China.

The style icon flaunts on the cover of the magazine in a lace bustier, black skirt and earrings. The cover was taken by Josh Olins. At some leaked images of the shoot, we can see Victoria in a black and white close up with earrings from Tiffany & Co. wearing an all black Prada outfit.

Let’s hope for Victoria that Anna Wintour will let her strike a pose for the American Vogue, because she deserves it!

Iris van Herpen @ Paris Haute Couture A/W 2013

Ever since I’ve seen her designs, I’m always looking forward to her next shows. Iris van Herpen showed us again a magnificant collection  at Paris Haute Couture A/W 2013.

The subject of this show was”Forces of nature”, with the aim of finding a fine balance between craftmanship and innovation. The 11 looks from the brand new Beyond Wilderness couture collection were therefore ranged from wearable pieces into true works of art, just as we are used from Iris Van Herpen. The well-known large, rounded shoulders, the skeleton motif and the corset shapes made their appearance again, but this time Van Herpen showed some Asian influences, like the long assymetrical kimono dress with high slit covered with pretty embroideries.
